March Spotlight: General Taco Bean

Mr. Taco Bean!

Taco is a littermate brother to Freddy Mercury and George Harrison. They were Vons kitties. Taco is famous for having his 2 or 3 day long outdoor adventures followed by, what we call a ‘Taco Recharge Day’. On these days, Taco comes in for breakfast, picks a spot and stays there for the remainder of the day.

A fun story about Mr. Taco is that he won the fish! Let me explain, when we first got Jack & Oswyn (the apartment puppers), Jack desperately wanted to have a cat friend, it was going poorly. Pete told all the cats that the first one to let Jack snuggle with them would get a whole fish to themselves. Taco was the first cat brave enough to snuggle up with puppy Jack, so, he won the fish.
